Announcement: COP28 scholarship programme for early career researchers

The UUCN is delighted to announce the award of ten Networking Scholarships for UK early career researchers to attend COP28. Working in partnership with the UK Embassy Science and Innovation Network in UAE and the Research England funded Centre for Postdoctoral Research in Infrastructure, Cities and Energy (C-DICE), links are being established between UAE and UK researchers.

Early career researchers are the future leaders in science and innovation across the globe. Establishing international partnerships across different discipline areas and cross-cutting themes at an early stage has potential to develop and sustain climate research beyond COP28. Sponsoring partners are supporting the scholarships with direct travel and accommodation costs with UUCN facilitating introductions and development of individual structured programmes for each researcher. Each UUCN scholar will be updating as their work progresses.
